Tips on Your Health and Typing Jobs from Home

When you work at typing jobs from home, such as blogging or transcribing, it is easy to become sedentary sitting at the computer for hours at a time. If you do this on a regular basis, it can start to affect your health.

Take breaks throughout the day to keep you moving. They don't have to be long breaks, but something to get you out of the chair and give your eyes a break from the computer screen.

You can take short walks outside and get some fresh air; maybe do 10-15 minute exercise breaks on a treadmill, exercise bike, or stair stepper. It does not really matter what type of activity you choose as long as it is something that involves moving about and burning up some energy.

Some other suggestions are to do some housework such as vacuuming, put dinner in the oven, wash the dishes, or maybe cut the grass or rake leaves in the yard. Not only does it help you burn some energy, you can also accomplish constructive tasks at the same time.

Just remember if you do typing work at home as a regular routine job, get up out of the chair and move about several times throughout the day, even if it is only briefly.
